Big oops, need advice...

    Did you clean all this shit off? Regardless of the crack, it will never seal if the mating surface has JB weld on it and isn't flat

    Full OME suspension (885 front springs, Dakar leaf pack + OME shocks) + D29XL extra leaf + 3 deg. shim + RideRite airbags
    I was told about 24 hr job + parts. FYI, 7K-10K CAD = 5K-7K USD , that was including taxes. Need a new head to guarantee work. Salted roads = all new hardware will be needed. Been there, bolts always break when I work on my taco. And as for the post above, yes, I took that pick after second coat which wasn't cleaned to the max, but it was sparkling clean on the first try, used degreaser and sanded prior to add JB weld. As mentioned, the crack goes at least to the far end of the threads. I'll be following a few leads in the next few weeks.

    Just making sure we are on the same page - Im asking if the area I circled in red is a buildup of JB weld? If so, that will need to be taken down to provide a completely flat surface for the bolt to seal on. Otherwise it will leak under the bolt head regardless of the crack

    Yes it is, and yes, sanded with fine grain to remove buildup.
