Driving home last from work and engine started shaking and couldn't go over 50mph . Check engine light came on and started blinking. I pulled over to see if any was off or loose but looks the same. It never died when I pulled over and turned off. Engine toast? Anything I should be looking for until I get my mechanicly inclined brother gets over here?

Engine is really shaking, motor mount on one side seem a Lil fragile. And a buzz sound that is annoying from top of motor.

You need to follow the suggestion to have the codes read and post those, or no one here is going to be able to do anything but guess.

Otherwise, find a good independent mechanic and let them fix it.

Agreed, we need the codes otherwise it's just a shot in the dark.

One thing I do know for sure though is that if the check engine light is blinking, you shouldn't run it. Get it towed to a shop if you can. A blinking CEL is indicative of a more serious issue than a solid one.

It was the Pvc and cylinder 2 spark plug . Both fixed.

^Thanks for posting the solution. Makes sense: a misfire (caused by lack of either fuel, spark, or compression) will make the engine vibrate really rough.

Better yet, the PCV valve and spark plug are among the least costly parts.
