Big Tabletop Game Thread

You failed your saving throw and caught feels.

 

Anyone play any RPG's on Roll20? My regular group has had a tough time getting together lately and I am jonesing to roll some dice.

 

I wish my regular group would be interested in a d20 game. But alas. Not in the cards.

 

What is this Roll20 you speak of? I have loved board games my entire life and recently was introduced to D&D by a friend. As it is only the 2 of us we can't really play alone. Any how I am interested in leaning more about the game and would really like to get into a more regular game group.

 

It's a website where you can play online with other folks. I have only used it a little bit. not the same as playing in person, but it fills the void. You most certainly can play D&D with just 2 people. I've done it quite often.

 

Recently got into DnD with a few coworkers.
I DM and play. There's a discord group I'm in as well with one shots at random times.

 

I'd be in for some 5e, if that's what you're talking about. CST right? Could work.

I haven't posted in awhile but my regular group has been going pretty steady for the past year or so! Currently running a 2e AD&D game and playing in a 5th ed game. We also finished up a Call of Cthulhu story awhile back.

 

Been listening to Brian Posehn's Nerd Poker DnD podcast. It doesn't help... Been thinking of picking up some gear, no one to play with atm, but at least I can partially scratch the itch and be ready to go when the opportunity arises.

 

This thread doesn’t get much traffic and I don’t play as many boardgames as most but watched a cool documentary on the AI that defeated the world champion Go player and liked it.

Also got into some background info on Warhammer videos over working remotely and being on the computer too much haha.

 

Check out the podcast Dungeons and Daddies. Hilarious. Concept is 4 dads taking their sons to soccer practice and they and their minivan get swept through a portal into a world of swords and sorcery.
