It's not too expensive. 40 bucks can get you started and playing with friends. I too was around during the Ice Age/Antiquities/Arabian Nights era and stopped upon entry to the army in 2003. I guess its technically been 13 years. Yep, age...

At one time I wanted to learn 3 man, but my level of play with classic chess didn't warrant an escalation and subsequent confusion of tactics. Also, probably more relevant, hooking up with opponents of similar skill is difficult with 2 man, probably impossible with 3 man. Yes, I go to chess clubs, but disregarding time schedules is a benefit of retirement I'm unwilling to relinquish.

I used to do some local tourneys in town and that's where it got expensive for me. Constantly buying packs hoping to get the good cards.

Nothing could be farther from the truth, my brain isn't wired to excel at chess. ...That said, I do wish the adrenaline would flow as strong while playing with titties as it does while playing chess!

Played this at a friend's house on Sunday. Pretty fun and challenging game. Simple to learn though and a good team game

I'm actually going to buy this game this weekend. I love games that can have a large group and go pretty quickly.

Definitely can go quickly. This girl and I were both spy masters and she gave a clue word of "sports" . She didn't realize that the assassin was on the word "bar" lol so the other team saw it and said oooo sports bar! bam game over lol.

We played again and it was a good game, both teams had two cards left, my two cards were "America" and "wall" so I said "Trump" for my clue word lol. Took a little while for my team to get it but they did haha

There's one surefire way to keep me from coming, and that's to tell me we're playing pandemic.

It could involve ripping up cards. You'll find great catharsis in that.

And would you rather watch the Pandemic movie?
