You really just should get rid of June, July August and September. Just my 2 cents.

Lake Meredith is about 30-45 min and its pretty cool and free. Mcbride Canyon would be closest to The Big Texan.

I just had to check thought it was me. I did June and July but would support august. I’ll be road tripping it and I like to road trip when it’s warm instead of cold. Also when there’s the most daylight hours. Lake Michigan shores at 10pm still being sunny was some pretty cool shit to see.

Will definitely have to remember that one. I'm always hunting for a good layover spot between home and the Rockies. So far my choices have been to either stay in the panhandle and have an easy 5 hour Sunday drive, or camp around Santa Fe/Raton and have a 9 hour pull.

You should go. This will make for an interesting meetup. You can be that guy that constantly trolls how your new ride shifts way better than the tacoma, only in real life. I want to see someone get reply banned from the campfire.
