Your @tacomacoolgirl in my books for owning a Taco! Welcome.

It's too bad you prefer wider tires, as @Joe23 mentioned about the rubbing. Many members are now going taller without wider (255/85/16), and the stance looks awesome. It also does not sacrifice gas mileage or weight as much as tall & wide tires.

Nice, clean ride. Now you just need to take the dumpy air dam off!

Stock suspension 275/55/20 BFg ko2 20x9 0 offset. I only berealy slightly rub going up a drive way at a perfect angle with wheel turned. Other then that no other problems on daily drive and speed bumps. These tires are great by the way.

The Falken A/T3W are available in both 245/75-17 and 255/70-17. Both are a bit bigger than the stock OR tire diameter but not wider. I plan on getting one of these when my OEM tires wear out and I by 17" wheels.

I don't know about on a Tacoma, but on my old Grand Cherokee Duratracs were AWESOME in the snow. Even in 2wd, I had to really try to get them to break loose. Snow drifting was a lot harder than with the Cooper STT's I had previously run.

Great feedback gransport (and others). Thinking of KO2’s 1st because they’re the no 1 tire on tirerack (maybe that doesn’t mean much) and have great snow rating (for getting to the ski areas ). 2nd they look a lot better on an off-road truck than stock. Pretty sure offset, rim/tire widths are the controlling factors. May lift it but don’t want rough ride or huge vehicle. Just a balanced look. Will post pics ....

ya I think it was duratrac specific. its a bit more aggressive than the KO2.

And for what its worth depending what lift you're going with I had to push my fender flares back too.
After my lift the fox and total chaos moved the wheel so much that it was rubbing on my fender flare. there was a little lip you can see in that picture near the screw that was rubbing. So heated it up with a heat gun and pushed it out of the way. Fine now.

Found lots running 285/75R16 KO2 on stock wheels and suspension. Barely rubbing. At full stuff you’ll rub with any lift. A few running 0.85” Bilstein. Some are at 3” OME Bilstein combo with 1.25” wheels spacers.

From what I have read, the ko2 doesn't perform well in the snow...i could be wrong as i don't have first hand experience with them. Maybe someone here has and will be able to give their input.

I'm surprised with all the KO2 haters lately. I've been running them through Utah winters for the better part of a decade now and love them. Great traction, very low noise, great wear. @tacomanerdgirl it sounds like you've already made up your mind on those tires, and there's no reason not to stick with it.
