    Good to know. I didn't realise they applied the fixes to the 500-series optics. I thought i read somewhere they got caught lying about updating them. Only the EXPS models were updated from what I knew.

    Agreed, I called EOtech and clarified before I started the swap process. My new #512 has taken a beating and still keeps zero in any temp. I like it because it runs on AA batteries and they are easy to find in a pinch.

    I gave that much for my first one. EOtech refunded my money and I used that and some more $$ to purchase my replacement. I think it is a good deal. I can not speak for everyone but I am happy with mine.

    It's either the wife's CZ, my Beretta (both can feed from the same magazines, they just won't lock in the magwell) or one of my 1911s. Then it gets dangerous now that I have a 10mm in the mix.
