Tried this. The service rep basically laughed at me. He stopped laughing when I told him we were about to go out of town for a week and a half and Subaru is going to pay for a rental if they don’t hurry up and get ours fixed!

 

What’s the status on the new part getting here?

 

Service rep said it is in transit and he has a tracking number. Supposed to get to the dealership tomorrow some time. If it arrives on time and is the fix then we are good to go on our Thanksgiving trip otherwise we will have to figure something out with Subaru to make sure we have a vehicle. Only problem is they don’t let you take a loaner more than 190 miles from the dealership.

 

Tell them you want a loaner from a car rental place then as you have holiday plans and they don’t seem to be able to solve the issues with your new car.

 

They gonna have to rent ya something then or make an exception

 

Exactly what I told em. I just want it fixed and I want to take our brand new car on our trip!

 

So far all I’m hearin’ is what they can’t do. When does that can do dept. step in here.

 

Hope they get it worked out
