I’ve been eyeing the decked too. I like them but a custom built one that take up half of the width but is taller so you could put the cooler next to it would be sweet.

 

If the side pulls out like this with perpendicular drawers and the other side is coolers. Not necessarily that tall. Or a full slide and we can build a chuck box.

 

We used chuck boxes similar to this in Boy Scouts. I’m sure my stepdad still has the plans.

I like this idea, easy access is a major plus

 

The only thing keeping me from drawers like this is the fact i would have to open the tailgate each and every time you want in those drawers. Ive got a big swingout tailgate and so it always stopped me from drawers. Im going down the path of bins i can reach in from the side panels of the gfc.

That bedslide is pretty bad ass and every now and then someone will post one for sale. Ill tag you in it if i see one. These are super nice and slide real well (at least the ones i seent)

 

Do you think we could build one with more pixels?

Probably but what’s the fun in that?

 

My swing outs are always open when set up anyway.

 

And it can be called the 8 bit kitchen..

 

Like the top one bad ass.

 

You could fabricate one out of aluminum or Stainless .Would be lighter than wood.
