Most of ours here has melted now. Wife said it's supposed to get cold and another storm again soon. I'm all ready for spring though. :)

We haven't really had any good storms hit the mountains yet this (2020) year. Right now we are having 65+ degree weather everyday haha. I might be the only guy actually crossing my fingers for snow or we are gonna have one hell of a long, dry fire season :(

It's odd this year hasn't seemed like we've had a lot of it but so far I think we've only had 1 month that's been under the average snowfall and to offset that we had one that was a good amount over. We've had a few pretty big storms. Everything is a sloppy mess right now which sucks. What's worse is we're at that temp where it's too warm to do work outside with a good coat on and too cold to not have one on. :)

    Thank ya sir!

    Quick question for you...
You still sporting your Warn vr8 winch? If so, how do you like it? Have you got to use it much?

I'm trying to decide on a 8k or a 10k and I love Warn but holy hell are they expensive!

No doubt sucks. Was at the house we're flipping yesterday. Went out back to clean up some stuff a moron contractor we fired left back there. Had a coat on and started sweating, took it off and the wind was killing me. Was happy to finish that up.

not to intrude in the conversation, but if it's going on a Tacoma the 8k will be plenty.
I've owned 9 different 4x4's over the years ranging from F-350's, Tacomas, 4 and 2 door model Jeeps. I have put a winch on every single one. Two were older 8k Ramsey worm gear winches, all the rest were all Warn M8000 model winches. Some synthetic line, some wire rope. I've never had one let me down, leave me stranded or fail to pull me out of whatever I got into.

Please by all means intrude, intrude!
I would love to hear everyones opinion on this!

The best opinion I have heard so far was this. I was at a local hardware store and a guy rolled up in a ranger 4x4, an older model which you could see he offroaded all the time. He had a smittybilt 10k on the front that got used alot. When I asked him how he liked it he said "any winch is better than no winch when you need one" lol... that's some truth right there!
