Not really. People get sick every day. Wash your hands and if you're in bad health stay away from sick people.

If I let the media scare me with all their crap I would never leave a bubble in my house.

I can do that on the cruise ship also. Hell last one we went on last year we went up to the adult outside lounge area with our friends and we were the only 4 up there relaxing for the 3 hours we were up there one day. Then we left there walked to one of the bars and got liquor then we walked to the BBQ place and got a bunch of food, then we visited the ice cream machines just cause ICE CREAM.

All serious though I know cruises aren't for everyone. I like traveling to the different islands, I like that the only things I've got to worry about is how many minutes since we last ate. I was worried my best friend and his wife were going to hate it. He's a go-go-go person. They completely loved it and we are all working on planning our next one. I've always been huge into boating so this is just natural for me.

Eric was worried about the amount of people but the only times we ran into a ton of people were some days at the lunch buffets and most of those days we just picked one of the other free restaurants to eat.

I was just reading some info on the CDC, this is an offshoot of the 2003 SARS and 2012 MERS viruses. Here's a quote from them:

Ccoronaviruses comprise an entire branch of the virus family tree that includes the disease-causing pathogens behind SARS, MERS and several variants of the common cold. Using “coronavirus” to refer to a potentially dangerous viral strain is a little bit like saying “mammal” when you mean “lion,” technically accurate, but not specific.

The animal source of SARS-CoV-2 has yet to be pinpointed definitively. Given the history, bats remain a probable culprit.

So I think that just like normal flu season (which more people have died from this year that this disease) we should all do our part to make sure we're washing our hands and not spreading germs but I also think the media in looking for the next big panic look over here scare is making this into something larger than it currently is.

Yes sir, to me that's a far more serious issue than this one is right now. That doesn't help the media fear monger though.

Sorry just not a big fan of the media on many levels anymore.

It's all about the ratings and nothing else. Back in the day The Weather Channel was reliable.
