At some point in life, hopefully much later, you realize that when you are the old man in the hierarchy and everyone else has since passed on and said that at least they are no longer in pain you know what they mean. But NEVER give up!

Real world it does not. Just went from Thunder Cheeks to Dark Desert Highway, could be highway to heaven, or highway to hell. Spent too many years in California going to go with highway to hell. Stairway to heaven is a different story...

6 cassettes or 8 tacks for $5 in Hong Kong. Even if you could hear the needle on the record player in the background. Now people pay a premium for that LOL.

Tube amp died and had to go digital but still old school. Polk towers and Denon amp. #9 lead shot for vibration isolation between the Velodyne sub and speakers. Might have some magic fairy fart dust on the cables.



Sweet Home Alabama right now. I can live with that.

 

I worked in a recording studio for a little while when I was young. We had special tube amps that we would process through in order to get they warm sound. Ahhh miss that at times.
