Oh, and I feel ya, ever since I took my family there my wife won't lay off me about moving there lol! I keep telling her she is welcome to move there, I'm just not going to haha.

You couldn't pay me enough to live there lol

 

I will probably apply to appease her. I told her I think it’s pretty darn expensive to live there. Plus we would probably have to buy everything new seeing as getting it over there would be pretty pricey.

 

There’s some beautiful places for sale out here by me. Might be a long drive to work everyday.

 

Got any addresses I can look up? Wife is a teacher so as long as there are schools around she’s good. For the right place I can drive some. Just hoping I can actually find a job. She’s onboard for living there.

 

It is but I didn't think it was as bad as people make it out to be and you do make better money there so...

Keep in mind that rent/house prices are relative to their neighborhood.
My sister and her husband were at a $2410 mortgage every month but that was a nice house overlooking the ocean in Kona Palisades.

You can get a cheaper house the farther you go up the mountain, but you have to deal with mold, giant spiders and centipedes and the tropical hard rain every afternoon .

 

WOW that is nice. If that's the only rust you have to deal with that is really not that bad.

This one is at the Lana’i Beach Resort. I would not want to live with mold and giant spiders. I would rather pay more in rent/mortgage and be close to the ocean.
