I'll probably hang on to it. If I sold it, I'd have to buy a new one. I like landscape photography and the phone isn't real good at that.

Very nice. I learned on a FM2, then got a F100. Never developed color, but had fun developing B&W.

I started with a FG but, I always wanted that F3HP. I almost bought one a while back just to say I finally had one but passed. Color was fun to me. I never used a analyzer to figure out the color package. Was taught to do it by eye. B&W was fun to do too and quick to get photo's with after you finally got the negatives developed. Won first place in high school science fair with a pinhole camera I made and took photo's with. I got started in studio work back in high school. Enjoyed that for a little bit but wanted more out of it. Got my wife a N2020 way back there. She never got past using program on it though. I really like printing slides onto Cibacrome paper and using the old barrel drums that rotated. Color film prints was always with a processor because it was a pain in the ass to keep the chemicals at the right temp. I've still got 3 enlargers sitting in storage along with all my darkroom stuff.

Here's my old FG, I ran across it a while back still on the Sunpack 622. Haha

You have one of the 50mm 1.8's or 1.4's?

No. The only lenses I have now are the ones that came with the camera 18-55mm and 70-300mm.

You can pick up one of the 50mm "D" lenses that doesn't have the focus motor in it and made for bodies that have their own focus motors. They can be had used for around $60 then use a reversal ring to mount it on the camera backwards to use as a macro lens. A reversal ring is $8 and had threads on it to screw in the filter mount on the front of the lens then a Nikon mount on the back.

    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=reverse ring&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma

I had a reversal ring in my old kit with the FG but don't have a clue where it is. I usually just hold the lens to the body by hand and use it that way when I need to do macro.

Works well hand holding it. You just have to use manual settings on the camera. You can also use a older film camera 50mm lens if you want to be able to adjust the aperture of it.
