 I wanted something a little different and not all one color. I’d get a custom color but they want $400 for that

Came across a video on a DIY awning, that actually looks decent.

some good ideas in there and a pretty solid starting point for an Idea I have.

Those are pretty neat. My parents bought some earlier this year, I think they are the model S and R and are really happy with them.

Nice! I was looking at some other brands, but the fact that this company is local was a selling point for me, and they have a really good warranty, better than any other company out there. Also, their parts seem to be high quality. They just opened a show room right down the street from me. I need to go check them out and see if I can test ride. Only downside is it’s a 8-10 week lead time after placing an order
    No kidding

Parents used the stimulus check and a then some to buy them. They researched the crap outta them and chose ebc for the reasons you said. They asked me about them and I didnt know anything so I had them tell me about the options and then told them it sounds like you know which one to get. I wasnt gonna be able to learn anything they hadnt already that would sway a decision. I do believe they told me they could test ride them if they were closer. They went to some dealer for other electric bikes in dallas and went for a ride before they made the purchase.
Hope you have a fast recovery!

That’s cool. I spent a solid week researching all the other brands. The only other one I would consider getting is a brand called Rad Power bikes. But after I saw EBC and read up on them I was sold. They are definitely a bit more expensive than the others, but for all the reasons I already listed, to me the added cost is 100% worth it. I’m much more willing to give my money to a company who backs their products like they do and isn’t just all overseas junk. I’m thinking about just placing an order for it in the next few days. There’s a few options I’m uncertain on purchasing so hopefully a test ride at the show room will help that decision be made. Also going to see if there’s any local bike shops that may already have a built one for sale too, but I’m not holding my breath

They do seem like a great company. My mom has had a few issues but they have either fixed the issue or are working with her to take care of it. My dad was looking at the Rad ones but decided to go with the ebc instead for some reason. Likely the same as why your leaning towards ebc.

Any ideas what issues she’s been having? If you know of any other feedback from them I’d love to hear it as well.

Something with the battery but that was known when she ordered and they were waiting on the correct ones to come in and will ship it to her at no cost. I did find a few rivnuts in the battery box that had the plastic around them cracked but still holding it in tightly. She also fell a few times when they first got them which may have caused it, shes not in the best shape and her balance isnt so great anymore(her words not mine). She thinks the new battery will have a new box when she gets it so she hasnt said anything about it to ebc yet. The only other issue wasnt a problems but more an oversight. She model she got she added the front shocks and front basket which no one had ever ordered. The mount for the basket doesnt clear the shocks so they are designing a new mount now and going to ship it out once they get the clearance issue worked out. She been messaging them on FB or email and they are always really quick to respond asking for additional info or directions to test something so they can get a solution. From what I've heard about everything they really do stand behind their bikes and will make sure the customer is taken care of. No issues on my dads bike and hes fallen few times also but his battery is in the frame and not an extra box.

Awesome. Thanks! I’m trying to decide if I want to order with the front shocks or not. I feel like they’d be nice to have but not sure if it’s worth it. I’ll likely get the front basket and no rear rack as I’ll probably be putting on my surfboard rack/carrier on the rear
