Yeah, I don't have the money to try the Acro, so my info is based on other people's experience. I could see the fog issue. I've run into that with my scopes.

I couldn't get a DPP when I got my carry gun, so I'm running a Romeo1 Pro on my EDC.

a local PD recently adopted Glock MOS with Acros, and yes they have complained about the battery consuption but its something their armory deals with. From what I understand the armory changes the batteries each time they are checked back in after a shift.

I have no complaints about the DPP, I wanted the RMR for the tan color but their prices skyrocketed.

You can get RMR06 Type 2 for any $450, which is kinda acceptable lol.

Back to the battery Acro thing, yeah that's unsat. They replace batteries at every shift? Makes that useless for people without a tax funded supply chain. For that reason I will not recommend the Acro. From guys that carry it, they usually devolve to stop being poor and replace the batteries.

That's why I went with DPP-type optics that I can zero and replace the battery from the top.

yup, I THINK the Burris FastFire III is on top, possibly the Holosun 507 and 508 also.

The 507 is a top battery with the RMR footprint and solar. Also, it tests well in abuse tests. :anonymous:

    I kinda like it. :bananadead:

The Burris I had for a short time on an ACOG, but never shot with it.

They feel a little too square for me.

I'm thinking I'll send my CZ to Cajun and mill it, but they're pricey. I also thought I'd send my 1911 and mill out and it was twice as much. :bananadead:
