If I could find an honest mechanic that would be great but I always have some issue happen with every one I try. It's frustrating...

 

My uncle lives in Boise. Retired chemistry prof from Boise St, but I don't think he'll be much help.

 

Theres a couple i know of but i dont know them personally

Maybe now, I'm pretty sure I've hit people up in here(tw) that were local and no one wanted to help. They referred me someone once and I went to him when my truck broke on me but he generally does the fun stuff not really a repair type of shop though he's done it. I'll just keep looking and watching like usual.

Quite. Article and the Ring app make it seem like a domestic abuse/homicide. Guess we’ll find out. The suspect is in hospital with injuries. I imagine guy killed girl. Either way, AR is bedside tonight.

 

I drove from Jarbidge to Vegas in one day and that was too long.

 

So the ex, referred to as DB by me usually. Decided he wanted to rig this homemade metal wood stove looking thing in the garage during winter time. So he set it up and ran some piping through a window in the garage.
This thing


New year's eve, he loads up some wood and lights it and comes inside while im getting ready. Lays down and watches tv for a bit. Then theres some weird noises, not sure how long later but we hear some weird sounds. He goes and checks and opens the side door up to the garage and sees flames
Runs in, tells me the garage is on fire. I think he's lying cause he was always making jokes randomly. No he's serious, so he's trying to throw water on it while I'm calling 911 and it's not helping. Someone moves my truck away and I start grabbing animals and kids and running people across to the neighbors house across the street that we're close with.
Finally fire dept gets there and puts it out, our other car was in there and all my dad's stuff pretty much, camping gear, etc.
Everything was mostly gone, car was ok but had smoke damage so they totalled it and we bought it back. That's the car he still drives as far as I know. We got it detailed and it was fine.

Keep looking. Take the BF or a male friend with you. Dress nice and don't have an attitude. Just tell them you have been told 'this and that' needs fixed and you would like them to take a look, and an estimate. Be nice!

And smile , show a little cleavage, it won't hurt.
