    I have used 2", 4" and 6". For the extra cost I stay with 6" nowadays. You can really tell the difference at my shop now. It will be 25-30 degrees cooler than outside in the summer. Which means a lot when it's 110 degrees outside.

    I’m leaning towards subbing out Sheetrock walls and stuff. Sheetrock for the insulation factor over t-111 siding

    Ya your in a different situation than me I installed mine before putting on sheet metal. You can can mash 6" in your walls.

    Reserected from the dead.
    You never want to "mash" 6" insulation in a space for 4". You need all the expanded insulation for the best heat/cold resistance.

    They did put the cheap vinyl covered fiberglass insulation blanket under roof at installation needed something to cut the heat while working

    I get it from Mueller's steel buildings but there is places cheaper. It's just convenient for me because of wear I live.

    I’m going to be screwing 2x4s onto tubular trusses but first thought bought taping butyl tape to trusses to break the thermal transfer first
