We brewed a double IPA Friday and I have been smelling all that damn hopps all weekend bleh

The guy I sold mine to had a service come and get it and take it to his house and set it back up fish included. I sold the whole set up for $ 1,200.00. He was happy I was happy. I am out of the fish tank for a hobby thing now.

 

Nice. I was gonna do used but after looking tonight there's just not a deal good enough to warrant a used tank. I'd deep clean any used tank I bought anyways and that's a good chunk of my time. If I can find a bitchin deal for tank and a stand (that actually looks nice, and not beat to shit like every one I have seen) I'll do that, but otherwise come Friday I'm probably getting that $130 55g from Petsmart. I think my local one has them in stock too which would be perfect. Get that and a stand and come home and set it up over the weekend and start cycling it

 

You going fresh water or salt water ?

 

Fresh. I'd love to do salt but it's more than I want to invest right now. Would also prefer to do at least a 75+ for salt to really get the value out of it

 

Last aquarium I had was for Sir Flufferton.


Ball python I got from my sister in law. He went to live with her again about 5 years ago.

 

That's right, I just thought you might go with salt water because of your location.

If I had the space and more money to drop on it, I'd do it for sure. I love a good saltwater tank. I'm probably going to go with a sand bottom, some easy live plants to start and then either some bala sharks or tiger barbs to start my cycle with. Going to fill out with barbs, bala sharks, a pleco and maybe another small school of something. I can't wait, I've been wanting to start a new aquarium for so long

I grew up in south Florida. I had a fish tank the whole time I was a kid. Fresh and salt water too. I had 5 tanks in my bedroom.

Altstadt beer I got at HEB. Definitely stronger than I’m used to at 5.9%
