Add if you get off base you get money to live off base and money for food. Its really only a little bad now for first term folks, they still get more than what i did my first term.

 

My brothers old 2019 TRD Pro was running nice and smooth and right before he traded it in, his headunit started to do the usual glitching people would complain about. Wonder if the current owner is experiencing anything

 

Plus GI Bill for college tuition or trade school. Now that’s a shit load of unrealized money too. I often wish I had gone into military, it would have boosted my career for sure.

At the same time he’ll probably struggle with getting a job once he gets his college degree. Shit everyone at school said we wouldn’t struggle with employment and here I am struggling with the Sheriffs office cause they cut my application for no apparent reason

 

Job market is difficult right now. Thankful I still have mine and gonna keep it until I have a new one already in place

 

I saw this coming so that’s why I ain’t really mad or disappointed. I have terrible luck with jobs and especially down here, you need to be really connected in order to get a job anywhere wether its a retail or government job

That’s usually the smart thing to do. Although I almost quit my last job without anything lined up. I couldn’t take it anymore and was damn near the breaking point. Luckily though I was contacted by a recruiter right on the edge of being ready to quit and landed my current job. Got lucky there, especially as this was right around this last January

 

Why's that? Don't mean to sound ignorant, just lack of jobs or are they just super buddy-buddy with people they know?

 

We on a freeze right now with the dam covid mess. There is openings but they are not filling positions. Mine plan worker protection plan is to keep as many people off site as possible.

That's fantastic. Similar boat here. This job will drive me insane and working with the public is really not in my, or anyone's best interest. I'm good at it, but I've gotten more anxiety and stress related bs than ever before with it. I won't quit though. I'll find something and then give em my 2 weeks like a good little worker

I have my last job my 2 week notice, but I had already had a week long vacation planned for the holidays, so I gave my 2 weeks, went on a week vacation, and then “worked” one last week. I’m so glad I’m out of there. It was just constant misery every single day

 

That's when ya know ya gotta go. If when i reach that point, i'll just say fuck it and give it my 2 weeks, regardless of plans. Hope to have something planned first though. I don't like the insecurity of not having something stable to land on.
