Going to heat and hammer some square bar tonight so the s hooks can hang on. Need to build a bracket to hold it on the cooker.

 

Going to do it in a quick release fashion?

 

Yes sir I got the bracket figured out.

 

Sounds pretty cool. Must be a great feeling to be able to want something custom and be able to go bang it out with your own two hands. These kind of talents are a dying art. Really awesome.

 

It’ Dying in this heat for sure. Dang hard to stay focused.

Geothermal heat pump for the Win.

 

What would this do for the summer time

 

Works both ways. A/C Summer time, descent heat Wintertime.

 

Below the ground it’s usually way cooler than surface air temp around 65-80 degree mark. So in theory this cooler air pumped into the atmosphere if enclosed will be cooler and reverse in winter. It’s a big thing for off grid homesteaders in the desert.

 

Big question is ROI/break even point. You have to go like 6’ deep in ground to start getting the geothermal effects. What kind of ground do you have and etc are deciding factors. We are on pretty much solid rock so it would cost prohibitive for us imho.

 

I will read up on them and see what the costs are.

better off having a cooler full of dry ice and some in/out holes cut into it with a fan blowing it out of air ducts kinda like redneck AC.

I got a homemade swamp cooler it works ok

 

Your Torching them to twist or Forge furnace .
