Mine is very well insulated. Put in extra when I built it.

The previous homeowner built ours and it’s wood frame built. I’ve even thought about tearing it down and putting up a metal building. If we did that I would enlarge the slab area and go about as big as what you have. Just takes $$$. It would be a way in the future project.

My retirement shop will be 50 x 120, think that will take care of what I need.

    That ought to do it:eek:!

If I do rebuild my shop I will definitely install a two post lift! I’ll have an area to park and a separated storage/craft area for my wife. This is one on the many reasons we bought a place with property and outside the City Limits! :fistbump:

House we were looking at had a nice 70 x 120 shop. Was all decked out already. Tall enough for a motor home to pull in the one side. I wanted th house just for the shop.

The house was pretty nice but they wanted too much for where it is. I liked the shop and the 20 acres it sits on. If we had got it I would have put in a couple lifts.

I’m trying to get my hands on the seven acres next to my uncles place. It was my grandparents land and we had to sell it in the early 2000’s. Small farm house and a 60x80 steel building. There’s going to be a 2500 sq ft apartment upstairs and all the shop space I could need. Plus the 13 acres my uncle is living on now, it would be a decent spread.

Yup, no insulation at all. My grandfather built it in the late 70’s and we had one of the biggest honey extraction services in the state. The single story side held the entire business and the big side was full of hoarder stuff. The 13 acres across the street (where the picture was taken from) was plowed under in the early 80’s and we have pecan trees. There’s also a creek that runs 365 days a year. Deer, hogs, turkey, coyote, bobcats, snakes, but no squirrels!

Very cool, you can always insulate if needed.
    Hope you get it.

Luckily a friend of the family bought it, but he wanted the building. He has the 500+ acres on the other side of the creek. I’m sure he would sell it back but I’m not sure if I can afford it for a few more years.
