Yup thats what this one we have is. Old one was expensive and seemed like it would use up cartridge too quick for the little we did use it.

    Morning folks.

Woke up to some thick ice.

I've seen good results with Champion 3000 dual fuel generators during this snowpocalypse from people using them as backup power. Most of them are running propane as a primary fuel and switching to gasoline as its hard to find propane right now.

Others have large tanks for propane and they're able to power their houses, but not with electric heat. Those guys are running 10k generators to provide full house power. Look into dual fuel.

I just read up on that printer. Sounds exactly like what we need. Stuck it in my cart.

Will a 10k run an entire house? Dude at work said 17k-20k; not arguing at all, just curious.
(I got some reading to do)

Depends on the size of the house and how many electronics you need to run. Electric heated houses use a lot of power and need a bigger generator.

A 20k will definitely run a whole house, but how much electricity do you need if the grid is down?

I live in a 900 sq. ft. house and I believe I'm on electric heat, although I have gas heat for my water and a gas stove. I could get away with a 10k, I think. I only need to run my fridge and heater/ A/C

We need an actual generator dude or electrician in here.

Well my wife ain't gonna want to spend the money unless she can run the dishwasher, cook, turn on the heat and ac (at the same time), do laundry, watch tv while blow drying her hair and leave every light on in the house. It needs to be a big one!! (<--- that's what she said)

My 12k runs the entire house, including the central air.

We have city water and have nat gas heat, 12k runs the entire house with ease.
