OK, So here is my contribution to this thread.
I am an avid bow hunter, and was bear hunting at a ranch up by Grassrange Mt. this is private land, and it was only myself and family on this ranch for the weekend. 6 sections all to my self. There is a draw called milk springs, that I was slowly making my way up the bottom of this draw on a game trail. The draw is mostly aspen trees that make an interesting noise when the wind is blowing through the fall leafs. I don't know if any of you are bow hunters, but when you sit in one spot for extended periods of time in complete silence except for nature you begin to hear things. Well I had set up a ground blind out of some fallen limbs with a rock ledge to my back as not to be flanked by any animals. I was in my 4th hour and had watched a few deer and a small black bear make there way past me on the game trail. I had noticed that the wind had calmed, and there was no sounds of birds and for that matter, no sound at all. I could hear my own heart beat. I had an arrow nocked, as i always do when waiting for game. I had this feeling that I was being watched even though you would have had to have had a keen eye to spot me in full camo and face paint. Regardless, the hair on my arms stood up, and up behind me I could hear some breathing almost like a labored heavy breathing. I could not see above me because of the overhang, so I backed up against the wall even further when I did this, a small trickle of gravel came down the ledge. Fuck that, I slowly put down my bow and un-holstered my 44 mag that is always on my side when hunting. I quickly jumped out of the blind and started yelling "HEY BEAR" thinking I would see a big grizz looking back at me from above, nothing, there was nothing there. With my heart pounding, I could hear cracking branches down the draw from where I had come from. I grabbed my bow, and continued cautiously back down the game trail towards the sound, mind you the hand gun never left my hand. I got to the bottom where I had left my brother in a tree stand, and asked him if he had heard or seen anything come past him. He is like hell yes, there was a big ass Mountain Lion passed right under his tree stand at full speed. That was my scare! and that was the last time I put beef blood on the bottom of my hunting boots as an attractant!! That sucker I think had me out for a free meal until we scared the shit out of each other. I still never seen the cat, but i am damn sure he thought i was an easy meal. I don't know what I would have done if a big cat jumped down in front of my blind.
    Shit myself for sure!!

Edit: Yes Bigfoot crossed my mind more than once when hunting, but have never seen anything in my many years hunting alone in the woods. Maybe he knows I am always armed! :D

I read that story online. Someone proved it fake. But I still believe that something similar has been experimented on humans before.

Does anybody watch Supernatural? (not sure if that was asked already or not )

C'mon OZ, I really enjoy this thread. In fact, I enjoy it so much I may add some more contributions, after all you your own self said stories, right? Who is to say that I won't post a true one?

Wait, so now you are going to ban for telling stories? After all, isn't that what ALL of these are, stories? Or do you have some selective ban hammer? I didn't see you THREATEN other posters for saying the same...so what is it? Story time or your selective banning? If you can't take someone disputing or even disagreeing, then you, my friend, have much deeper issues than a squatch stealing your thunder.

Nobody cares if you dont believe in this stuff or have an opinion about it. Just be respectful of others and dont stir up shit. The last guy that did in this thread got banned for being disrepectful too. You wouldn't want anyone to shit in your tv show thread and get it closed.

To keep things legit, here is my contribution. Now I will outright say that I don't believe in ghosts/squatches/wookalars, what have you. But I have had a few things happen that, for lack of better words, I can't explain.

My Dad and I are big into metal detecting and there is a colonial homesite on my family's land. In the back corner of the pine field, nestled among some big, old live oaks is a grave site. It's just one grave, and the headstone is wooden - I think it's pine that turned to fat lighter, but that's beside the point.

One day last fall we were in the pine field - but separated by a couple hundred yards or so - when I got the distinct feeling of being watched. It was creepy, and quite honestly, the hairs on the back of neck stood up. It was quiet, too, with the only sound being that of the light wind through the trees. I looked up to see what looked like a man in grey walking amongst the trees, and he/it was roughly 20 or 30 yards away. Funny thing, there wasn't a sound - nothing at all, which was odd because the ground was very dry and I was making a lot of noise just slowly walking.

Needless to say, that creeped me out.

What you may call "rustling jimmies" to be cute or funny. I take as you calling me out as a liar by saying I posted something that wasn't a true experience of "mine". And I take that as a disrespectful shot at my and others character and integrity.

So having started off your posts in that way, causes me not to know what angle you're trying to work after.

Which leads me to ask you kindly either stick to your word and no more :stirthepot: and disrespecting others, or leave the thread.

Nobody wants to argue about things they've seen, much less try and prove something they don't understand themselves to someone who wouldn't believe anyway.

Whoa nelly, you need to calm down. I told you I would and I did. And I even told you one of my several experiences. Honestly, I don't care if you believe me or not. Think what you will, but I said I would stop and I did.

I'm completely calm. I wanted you to know how I felt about all of your post and why I and others have reacted to them the way we have, so I did. That's all.

Okay, yeah, I think that's what it was. It's been so long I forgot what it was called. I've been on the fence about wanting to try something like that.
