Yea it makes sense that way, but she explained it like the gravitational pull off the moon effected the amount the dirt was compacted or something. Also did you get the part about the basement hole and how it didn't have any dirt left over.

Not really without knowing more details and seeing what you're talking about. I think maybe you're talking about how he had dug down for the footings/foundation/basement etc. But it's unclear to me exactly what all your describing.
All the cycle stuff, I'm not knowledgeable on. I do know the moon has phases etc. But what all happens during those I don't know. I know the moon effects the tides in our oceans. Anything beyond that, is something I'm not knowledgeable on at this time. But it is interesting.

The creator for the show actually did his research on supernatural and paranormal shit. The show is pretty accurate to the real thing with the exception that it's Hollywood.

    I hope it's not season 7...

It's season 8. Not much better.

    Couldn't agree more!

I thought season 8 was great! 6 and 7 were poor though.

So the day I saw something moving the blinds. My mom had been over at my aunts. I was eager to tell her what happened. When she finally got home I ran down the drive way to tell her what I'd seen.
She then told me that she had saw something a few nights before, when the power was still out from the hurricane, but didn't want to tell me.

Her bedroom was at the end of the hall there. If you laid on your left side in the bed, you could look all the way down the hall to the living room, if the door was open. She said for some reason she had been awaken in the middle of the night and looked over near her bedroom door at the end of the hall, and there was a lit candle about chest high. She said she called out the guy John and his brother Dave's names from upstairs, thinking maybe they had come down stairs for some reason. When she did, the candle started moving down the hall, she then got out of the bed and started walking down the hall calling there names, it continued moving, then reached where the living room was and turned the corner out of sight. She got to the end of the hall to the living room to see no candle or the smell of one going out. She went straight up stairs thinking still somehow it was one of them, when she got upstairs they were completely crashed out snoring and the whole nine.

The only other thing at that house that I remember happening and seeing, as well as my mom. Was there was a folding door that separated the kitchen from the living room. One like you see sometimes for closets, that have the track at the top with the rod that goes thru the top of the door.
Mom for some reason liked to keep it closed. Later you would come back and it would be open. The last time mom decided to close it, came back later and there was about a six inch split down the door (not there before), where the rod went into it. As if it had been slammed or jerked open.

There's been a couple of times thru out the years after getting older, I've thought about seeing if I could find that place. We had moved to that area for only a little under a year, and only lived in that house for probably four months or so. I guess while passing thru that area, I'm curious to see who maybe living there and if they've had anything happen to them.

The guy that lived up stairs, had lived there for a while and remained after we moved out. He was the one that had some really creepy things happen.

He said, at times when he was in the bed something would pull on the covers (sometimes pull them off of him). Other times he would feel something sit on the bed next to him. And he would get touched, feel breathing, feel as tho something was walking past him etc.

And believe me, I know a lot of people might hear or read that and be like yeah right, that's complete bs. Because that's what I was thinking that day out in the yard before I first saw the blinds moving, when he was telling me all that.

It wasn't until literally minutes later I go inside with him and see what I saw , that what he had told me became believable.
He was sitting right next to me and saw it too. And he just said, see I told you ,and was smiling at me like you thought I was lying to you.

I think I've already said this, but I'll say it again. The part that was creepy to me, just as much as seeing the blinds move. It was like whatever did it, had been listening to the whole conversation out in the yard and him telling me all that, and me thinking it was a joke. It was as if it decided to show me it was in fact there and not a joke, right then and there.

Okay, let me start by saying I'm not huge into the supernatural. I don't believe in bigfoot, but I do believe in alien life...maybe not little green men flying around in UFO's, but the universe is just too big to not have a habitable planet out there with at least some sort of microscopic life. Now, to ghosts and spirits...I don't know. I am rational and believe in science over anything, so in theory, ghosts aren't real....but I saw one lol....anyway, here's the story:

My girlfriend and I have been dating for almost 5 years; her house is over 100 years old and has a crazy history. All of her family has lived in the house, up to her great great grandparents; they even had a smaller house in the woods for slaves (not cool, but this is GA). The slave house has since been torn down, but her house is still up and running. Now, it's not some huge southern antebellum home and it's been renovated over time to where it looks like a normal, modern house, but the framework and some of the stuff inside the house is still the original stuff. That history, alone, gives the house a creepy nuance lol.

Anyway...So, my girlfriend's grandmother committed suicide in the house in the early 1980's because she found out she was sick or something...I don't know a lot about that b/c it's not exactly dinnertime conversation. I was staying the night there probably a year into us dating (~2008) and when I was laying in bed at about 3:00 AM, I saw a lady in the corner just staring at me. Of course, I flipped, woke my g/f up, and, of course, the lady was gone. I am not into ghosts and all that crap at all, but I know I saw a lady in the corner and I know I wasn't asleep. The next day, I was talking to her and her mom about it and I explained the lady to her (turtle neck type white dress, angry-looking eyebrows, black hair, and pale skin). Her mom showed me a picture of my g/f's grandmother from the 1950's and, sure enough, it was her.

Season 8 was better than 6 and 7. I feel like when CW got Supernatural they turned down a different path than what ABC was doing with it. Season 9 seems to be doing better though. I wish they would make another episode with Sam and Dean pulling pranks on each other.
