So I'm looking into just hopping up to the 265/70/17's but was wondering if jummmping up just one size would mess up my milage reading?

Look under the mods and tutorials tab at the top of the page and at the bottom of the list is this. You can plug in whatever you want and see what it does. Cant vouch for accuracy, but take it as you will.

Yes it will mess up your odometer, making it appear that there are less miles on the vehicle than actually true. By going up to that size, you will be off by ~3.3%
