Bigger tires, thoughts and input.

I have the 6" bds drop bracket lift with the fox coilovers Before you go off on my lift, I live in Canada so long travel is not if full use here. Anyways I want to run a larger size tire next time around. I am running 35x12.5 right now I will be putting on glass fenders and bedsides in the spring along with front and rear high clear bumpers by all-pro. Wondering what you have done to clear larger tires. I have flattened my pinch welds, trimmed the fenders, cut the cab mount(looking for more information on this, I am thinking of using 3-4 inch pipe to make the cab mount as small as possible). Let me know how far you have gone to get your tires as large as possible. I have 4.88 gears FYI.

 

Just continue to hammer, cut, burn, smash, whatever the tire hits.

 

the problem will be the cab mount mainly. any specs on how to fab a relocate bracket? I know a highly skilled welder who can make it up, or what did you do to eliminate the rubbing at full turn lock?

 

I just cut mine back to the bushing mount, it fits 36s full stuff

I wouldn't was your money on those, you can make those from scrap steel for free

 

im not buying those I have some made, easiest thing to do. But I need more room, which is why I need ahe relocate bracket. Then I can do 37s in the future if the mount is moved. Good advice on not buying those tho. Know any members who did a relocate? or with some decent pictures of the bracket so I can steal the design?
