There are 265/75/17's out there but they are an "off" tire size and are may cost a premium as such. Apparently General AT2's can be found in that size. But I'm guessing they are D or E rated which I would stay away from unless I was going to be doing mostly rough trail driving.

Ok i looked at the link and used the tire size calculator. But i still cant tell if the 265/70/17 tires will rub while the wheels are at full turn traveling downhill at high speed and braking hard on a thursday in July. Oh BTW i have stock prerunner suspension.

I'm not a tire expert, but I just bought some C rated Toyo ATII's and am extremely happy with my choice.

It is a mixed bag on how people feel towards D or E rated tires, especially depending on your intended application. Some say they ride like a dump truck, others say they ride fine. I myself am on pavement 85% of the time, so ride quality was more important to me than offroad application, hence a C-rated all terrain tire fit me just fine.

    Good info.

Also think about tire rotation. Load E are a b!tch to rotate!!
