    Tires should fit just fine. It's the 15" rim you might have problems with. 15's usually wont clear the 2nd gen Tacoma brake caliper.

    The truck has stock 15s I was just going to buy new wheels with slight offset..

    It's not a 5 lug is it? If it is, you need to check into the 5 lug forum.

    Folks in the general forums don't know too much about our trucks.

    And you can learn 5 lug lift options over there too. There aren't as many, and they're not as good, so proceed with caution, particularly if you are just doing a looks thing.

    235x75 will fit stock wheels and suspension with no clearance issues. The extra diameter will lift about 1" and the 2.7 won't be too taxed with the new tires.

    It's a five lug so that'll likely be the biggest tire size he'll be able to fit.
