I feel like I need to add on to this post. For whatever it's worth I have an automotive background. I am retired now but was in the business for close to 40 years. That does not make me an expert and I am not an automotive engineer. I just believe sometimes we cause problems ourselves by modifying the vehicle from it's build specs. I think my logic is sound but as usual JMHO.

It's been stated that's these problems happen without any modifications. Changing things on these trucks can exacerbate the problems, but these trucks can be quite sensitive when it comes to abs and vsc.

Could be I don't know. I am just suggesting many of the "problems" experienced may be caused by modifications, or may not be a problem at all. It could be a characteristic. When things don't operate we expect many times they are considered defective or broken. That does not make it so. It could be a characteristic or misunderstanding of how specific feature or system operates. Especially for new owner. I know this is probably coming off all wrong. I don't mean to offend or challenge anyone. Just kinda thinking out loud. I get frustrated when people are so quick to blame a vehicle manufacturer for problems that may not their fault or not actually a problem at all. Thanks for letting me rant a little.

This happened to me the last weekend and sent me into the oncoming traffic lane on a windy mountain road.....not good. Scared the shit out of me. Glad to see theres a way to hopefully fix or disable it. Dont need that to happen again!
