I just put BFG TA/KO's 265/75/16 on the stock rims. Look great and no issues.

Just had 255/85 R16 BF Mud Terrain KM2

Only had to remove the front little mist guards (2 10mm bolts each)
Front mud flaps have been gone for a while so can't comment if they'd rub.
Shot of the front tire close up is with the wheel stuffed and turned full lock.

    Completely stock.

I have a 2007 Tacoma pre-runner I installed the pro comp 3" lift about 6 months ago and really want bigger tires. I have revo 2 265/75/16 and they look way to small. How much larger can I go without to much hassle.

@kz1r1000 with my 3 inch lift I put 285 60 18 and there was no rubbing. Recently changed to 33 12.5 20 and had to do a good amount of cutting.

    I have a 1998 Tacoma 2wd with 4" spindles, a leveling kit, and a 3.5" rear lift. I was wondering if I should go with a 265/75/r15 or a 235/75/r15 tire wich would look/perform better thanks

Hello, new to the website and to Toyota.
I have a 2014 tacoma sr5 4x4 with a 2 1/2" leveling kit. What is the biggest tire I can fit on it? Will they fit on stock rims?

Any chance 255/75/17s would fit on a stock 2009 Double Cab? I'd like a little extra ground clearance, don't really need more suspension travel! Willing to add spacers, but trying to stay stock. Thanks.

Yes , essentially same diameter as 265/70/17 , no spacers needed

Looking at 20"x9" Red Dirt Road Trek wheels with 265/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers.
Wheels have +18mm offset with 5" backspace, on stock suspension I'm assuming I'll rub with out a spacer. Am I correct?

    Thanks,
    Nate

Does this have to be done at the dealer and do they charge for this?

    Thanks John

alright, so I just read through all 19 pages of this thread. I have a 2011 DCSB TRD Sport. Just to be clear I can run 265/70/17's or 265/75/17's on stock suspension without rubbing, right? I have trimmed my mudflaps but they are still on. Sorry to revive an almost dead thread.

I have a 2012 with a 3" ready lift with 265-70-17's and they still rub on my mud flap where it attaches inside the fender. Not running stock wheels though which i believe is the issue. Only slight rub at full turn. Im running pro comp 5182 wheels 17x9 -6 offset 4.75 backspace

Yeah I would say your backspacing is what's screwing you over.
