Spent a few hours at a Firestone store test fitting for this same reason. Since I have 16 inch rims, the largest I could go and no rubbing issues was 265/75/16 on my '13. It is worth noting that my speedometer is now accurate with this tire size. No idea why, but it is.

but your odometer is off now..... odo is spot on with factory size tires.

that stated OP..... you might want to reconsider "biggest snow tire possible" id MUCH rather have a 245/75R16 (aka something skinnier) if i was doing any sort of snow / ice driving more than here and there.

265/75-16 is only about a 3% difference. 100,000 miles would only amount to about 3,000 miles fewer than actual mileage.

Not all the way true, unless every trucks dimensions are not spot on. Here are 265/75/16's BFG AT-KO's on bone stock suspension. They rubbed on the inside of the inner fender flair and mudguards. Also on that small mini mud guard thing that hangs down from front bumper. I trimmed about 1/2 and inch from the plastic flares, and the inside of the mudguard, and also removed the small mini mud guard things in front of the bumper and no there is no rub.

*Tire shop did say, if I got same size tire in say a Michelin MS2 or anything less aggressive than the BFG, AT it would not rub. If it means anything, my wheel offset is -6.

I had the same issue with that size, but it was because of my wheels. They have 0 offset which moved the tires outward, which is why mine rubbed on the front and rear plastics. I had to lift to clear.

265/75/16 on 4.5 BS fit on my stock suspension and only rubbed a little while turning left and going over a bump or rut, nothing to worry about. IMO, this size looks good with or without a lift.

This could be the reason. I got the Firestone Destination A/T. Looking at your pics mine do not look that aggressive.
