If your rims have 4.5" backspacing, you can fit 285/70/17 with some trimming of the fender well plastic.

285/75/17 or 285/70/17 with the possibility of having to do a body cab mount chop depending on caster values.

i was about to start my own thread but then i saw this one here....and i think it will help this thread along.

    Nobody ever seems to ask:
***What do you guys in-the-know think about a 3in lift (icon coilovers etc) with 4.5in BS wheels using KM2 ---> 305/65/17
Notice I have "65" and not 70. I need to decide on this shit once and for all - soon! :D

And if I were to use this size, what are your thoughts on all that footprint and weight:
    *Bump-steer effects??
*Kill enormous amount of performance or not so bad??

    THANKS!!!!!

    J/k

You can fit up to 35s if you trim like crazy and have an after front market bumper

Other than that I'd say 295/75/16s with proper wheels and Backspacing

    BUMP

Does anyone on this site own 305/65/17 tires  (KM2s)

Seems like the only tires this site knows about are "70s" or "75s"

265's FTW! ZERO rubbing... 285's require trimming and a cab mount chop

i call bullshit. i had 285's on my truck and they rubbed at full lock and especially off road. most anyone on here will tell you that 285's rub cab mounts.

Nice!!! :D Just what i was hoping to hear!

Has he ever complained about the tires being too heavy in that size or that he has lost major acceleration etc??
Is his steering any tougher etc?
