Found a pair of aftermarket 16X8 with positive 20. Stock wheels are 16x7, with the offset at 25. Will these new 16x8 with positive 20 work similarly if I want to put 31.5” tires on? I’d like to put on 265/75/16 on stock sr5 2018.

Thanks for your post. Is your truck an SR5 or an off-road? I’ve got an SR5 and am wondering if it’ll make any difference. I want to fit as close to 33’s as possible. I’m buying new tires this week cause I’m due, but more so cause me and my buddy are running a huge week long Colorado 4x4 trip. Any advice is appreciated, thanks

Will these work without serious rub on a stock SR5 3rd gen?

I don’t know the offset of your wheels but they work on stock Off-road wheels, no lift and no modification.

What about when off-road during compression of the suspension, etc? They still fit without rubbing? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what offset the TRD Off-road wheels are on this 2023? Im trying to determine if the 255/85r16s will work on these stock wheels. The truck now has a 2” leveling kit on it with a 1.5” aal in the rear (not pictured). Not sure that makes a difference on the rubbing issue though. Thanks for the help!

It wasnt as bad in 2018 when this thread was created, but still 3rd gens knew tire sizes before 2016 even rolled in.

itl be fine unless those wheels have crazy offset which i dont think methods do. heres my personal trd offroad bone stock with 285/75/16. just needed 3/4" wheel spacer to clear uca because stock wheels have alot of positive offset
