A CMC doesn't gain you much with the stock wheels and no spacers. The tires you'll be able to fit will be the same as if you didn't CMC.

Skinny 33s are much better than people think they are.

I've been in rough mud/clay goop, snow, ice, slush, dirt, and rocks. All had no issues traversing.

I've only had experience with coarse sand, not the fine stuff, but I can't imagine they would fair any worse than a "wide" tire.

    I'm running the TOYO MTs

I'd try and find someone in the 275 thread. They just might fit.

    I've taken the mudflaps off?

    Thank you!

I don't doubt a tall/skinny tires offroad capability, but I am a little hesitant to put a 33" on it with these damn factory 3.91's in it.amd as doggy as it is under 3500rpm even with the relatively light-for-size factory Wranglers on it.

How's your experience of your truck after you went to 33's? (Or maybe you re-geared it?).

(At least jeep gave me the option of 4.10's when I bought my Rubicon, and now it's perfect with 33s on it. I wish Toyota offered the 4.30's in the V6, I mean they already put them in all of the 4-bangers anyway!)

I really appreciated you sharing your input with me!
