I searched, the master thread on the Wheels/Tires page doesn't look like it's been updated for 2016 and there aren't any threads in here about it, so I'm asking.

I know in Gen2 you could get 265/75r16 tires on stock wheels without a lift and not have any rubbing. The chart puts that at 31.6" diameter. I'm curious if I could eek in a 32" tire... especially if it's skinny. I'm hoping to start my order soon (anybody want to buy a Jeep?) and would like to figure out if I can tuck a 255/75/17 in there since it's narrower. I saw someone else did it on a Gen 2 but they had to trim mudflaps and it just barely fit...

Has anyone put a 32" tire on their truck without a lift yet, and if so did you run into any issues with it?

(My thought is to get the TRD Pro wheels that are so sexy and stick some Cooper ST Maxx 32" tires on them.)

Yah yah, I realize it's a dead horse topic... I've run the numbers, I just have 2 variables that I can't check.

    1. New height for Gen 3
    2. Someone that's done it.

If you've done it, chime in, if you want to say "it all depends" then yah I already know that.

I think anything less than 32 will be ok, especially if you don't have mudguards

Yah that's kinda what I'm hoping. I guess when I look at the Cooper site they suggest it as 31.77" so it might be a bit cozy but should fit. Do you know if the Gen 3 TRD OR has more stock lift than a Gen 2 TRD OR? (I guess I should go search for that specific topic.)

I was actually looking at that one myself, but they are the same price as the BFG ko2. So I am still in the fence. Cooper AT3 looks very good for the price and the reviews are good

Oh those look good too, not as aggressive but way better general on-road ratings. Does anyone have them on their Taco here? Pics!? It doesn't look like they have that one in 255/75R17 though /c:
