Hey guys sorry I'm sure there's threads on this I tried searching but couldn't come up with what I'm looking for.
What's the biggest tire I can put on a 3" lift without any rubbing in a 17" rim?
    Thanks for any help

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Or 265/70/17. it kind of depends on the wheel specs also. If the tire sticks out alot more than stock you will be more likely to rub.

I could only find 1 tire In 255/80/17 at 255 a piece I think I will look another route cuz I'm all about saving some money cuz I don't drive my truck to often anymore

I have 285/70/17 on it now but I think dropping down to 265/70/17 will do me better cuz I get alot of rubbing when in reverse and turning the wheel now

275/70/17 is an option also but it is only 10mm skinnier and a little smaller in diameter than the 285s so you might still rub.

Edit: oz beat me to it. OP i am assuming you have aftermarket wheels, do you know what your backspacing/offset is? That will be a factor when it comes to rubbing or not.

I have the same problem. Its very minor rubbing but would like to get rid of the problem and still keep the tire size. I was thinking about adding an inch on the body lift. Anybody else have any other ideas. Thanks
