Thanks for all the input guys! Now question is which beefy tire would y'lll recommend? She does most HWY driving than off road. I have bfg ko2 and I like them. Which other A/T is pretty aggressive looking?

They won't rub with the stock wheels , lots of threads in that size

Yea I have been reading the threads. It seems some rub and some don't, not sure why. Maybe some are just on the street while others are actually off road at full lock, which is what I am interested in. Seems like some have to remove mudflaps or pound some metal to avoid rubbing. Maybe the tire size cart is the safesr bet at 265/70/17 on a 2nd gen. even though the 255/75 is only a smidge taller.

You don't have to remove the flaps or beat on anything with that size on stock Sport alloys , its when people have wheels with different specs that they get into issues with 255/75/17 and 265/70/17

That makes sense, hard to get that level of detail from the threads, but thats exactly the kind of info I am looking for - thanks!

I'm running 285's on 17 inch rims with what looks like my stock suspension on the highest setting. No rubbing here. IMG_2178.jpg IMG_2143.jpg

Your stick suspension has a highest setting?
