I need to lay off camper shell shopping

Leaving for Joshua Tree tomorrow for 2 days, hoping to get some crawling in! LT stuff is all here minus the shocks so just waiting for those to be done. I found someone who reboots axles and whatnot so +2 axles will cost $700 + a spare. I believe Total Chaos is $620 and then you have to boot them.

Looks appealing. Allows room for shit on the roof and lots of room up top.

Edit: JESUS! NVM, I just looked at the price.

I think I'm gonna go the alucab route when it comes time, probably just the canopy and not the pop-up. I'd be content with a rooftop tent with how much most of these campers cost. Doubt the most expensive setup would help me sleep anyway.

Edit: you still need shocks for 2+ kit right?

I was gonna say to hit up Headstrong and see what they can do on pricing. When they had their inventory reduction event a couple months back they had some crazy prices on shocks. Not king blue, but it was like $1300 for a set of 8" ADS coilovers, which is insane.

They'll work with you too, I got my bypasses through them. Custom tubes and all, they had the best price. Was $300 cheaper than the kings I was spec'ing out.

I think I paid $1,284 or $1,300 for my shocks, super good deal! I called Headstrong and they were a little more.

Nice! That’ll do the trick. Plus you’ll match front and rear lol.

Speaking of which, now that you got the bumper on, hows the rear perform? After you get the 2+ on hopefully both ends pair nicely. Right now my bypasses in the rear out perform the front and it’s a funny feeling lol.

I have 2 extra water scepter cans (like the ones in my picture). Does anyone want them? I paid $15 each. I'll take a picture later today.

Edit: Should add for $15 each so I can recoup what I paid haha
