The 886’s lift so high until they settle lol. I gained 3.5”, then they settled around 2.8”

I literally just did this today...swapped out my 885's with 886's AND with the top plate spacer. It did lift it nicely...but I'm also adding the extra Dakar leaf to accommodate this...plus with my shell, RTT and overland trailer it'll settle nicely. My ARB bumper will bring it down...plus when I add my Warn....

It should look exactly like mine then! Make sure you order the heavy duty dakars!

You are completely correct! Thank you for the advise. I ended up ordering the Eibach heavy duty coils. I have a friend with them on his truck and he likes them. I've read complaints about Eibach here but I try to tread lightly when it comes to complaints about products. Usually the stories are blown up. I'm doing the 2" AAL since I just had rear leafs replaced by Toyota. If I'm not happy with it, I will upgrade to the Dakers.

Did the same thing after Toyota replaced my leafs. It will ride a little rougher in the rear, mine has 1k miles and it settled none. When I have a 52 qt cooler full of ice over my axle it tames it quite a bit.

Good to know. I do have a camper top on the truck. Did you leave the overload spring in?

I already have the Dakars....so I just purchased that extra leave to add to make them extra heavy.

FA60CE17-E827-40AB-8041-D5677105A0F1.jpg Better picture. They’re starting to grow on me. Now to go run over stuff!

I might be switching out the shell for a bed rack and rtt. I sold my hardshell as it’s going to be too small for me and girlfriend. Still haven’t decided, but I’ll be going with an XL tent. Or maybe dish out the $3.5k for an ikamper or $5k for a GFC.

Truck looks so good, I'd say its worth the extra 1500$ for the GFC, trust me they are so much better than rooftop tent's.

Hey man. I’m pretty much booked up till the end of June right now. Things are so busy right now!! If you can wait till then, cool. If not, I totally understand. I can give you a couple referrals to people who could help you out if you’d like

New tent ordered and buddy and I are building a bed rack this weekend! Bought the last Mossy Oak M55 by GOFSR and got a discount on top of the sale price.

Color wasn’t my first choice, but the $400 I saved will be spent partially building the bed rack and go towards a Prinsu. 993460FB-06EC-482C-A04F-A25726E8A7C7.jpg

I am in college and just found out about overlanding and it looks amazing. How do you afford the truck and all of those upgrades?
