Actually, the cheapest and easiest way I found was just regular tiedowns. Get a cheap set form Home Depot for $10 bucks and done. It really is quick, easy, cheap and works great

I made a rack out of some flat stock and round bar. With a few straps it works great.

On another note, how is your E150 working out? Mine holds air and such but needs to be taken apart and lubed every month or so to keep it nice and smooth

I love it. It holds pressure fine and has no leaks. I think it's pretty bullet proof. (At least mine is. I know there are people that love them and hate them.)

$600? Man you got money to burn??:D I know you want one like that but $10 for Tie downs or $600 for the rack? It does the same thing. To each their own I guess.

Great Job. Did you do all the work yourself? How much to make one?

Regular tie downs, not the ratchet ones. I turn the wheel slightly towards the driver side and cinch down. The other option is to make a real simple wheel chock

dakine cover for me too. works great if you still want to have some room in the box for gear. (get the large cover for bigger trucks, covers the entire tailgate)
