    TW -

This past weekend, I drilled the top lip of my bed near the cab for some RockyMounts fork mount bike racks. I can't get a wrench or my fingers between the cab and bed in order to tighten the nuts. I've heard that I can remove the bed with 6 bolts which would allow me to slide it back and get access but this seems like a lot of work for a couple bike racks. Any ideas on how to mount these to the lip of the bed?

    Thanks!

    Here are the mounts

And here is the whole setup minus anything to actually hold the rack in place

@veg hed, racks installed. Thanks for the help. Here are some pictures. Drilled some small pilot holes and then used #12 stainless sheet metals screws. Racks are super sturdy.

Can't even get a wrench in that space. Also tried laying under the truck and using my breaker bar but I can't get a straight enough path that way either.

Veg - I'll check those out. Thank you.

That's what I'd use....Just get some shorter ones so you don't drill into your cab. And I'd also get stainless so they won't rust. You can pick these up at any hardware store.

BTW, that looks like a nice bike. Earlier this summer I picked up a Trek Remedy 7, 27.5". Ride Hard!!!
