Interesting. I’ve had good luck with mine. On the hottest days here in Texas my temps get no hotter than 210 with the 180 stat.

For hot days here, SoFlo, 190*f max, all the time unless a cool evening where it may run 186 / 188*f. Same for stock radiator and aftermarket aluminum radiator.

As Torspd knows from messaging, I was not haphazard in going back to stock, and sadly, could not find a correct style thermostat to make the billet style housing work.

Even when I had the stock setup it would show 200 or so.

Mod list... Well, my paint is factory.
Today I let my truck idle for a little over 30min which resulted in an engine temp of 199F. Tomorrow I’m reverting back to a new OEM thermostat assembly.

Just finished swapping back to OEM. About 45min idling the temp got to 185 and wouldn’t go higher. 14 degree difference.
I’ll see how it does on a 2hr drive tomorrow.

Tomorrow temp will be 107 without heat index, lol. Will verify what mine reads. My temp needle hasn’t moved since install and coolant in the revisor shows full when I topped it off before summer.

Sad to report that the billet unit increased my coolant temps, both at idle and while driving. Around 10*f hotter at idle and around 5-11 while driving. I’m switching back to oem.

I was unable to do my driving test since my trip got canceled, but I'm pretty sure I will see lower temps with going back to OEM.

damn was just coming here to see what was up. I have the setup but it does not work with S/C trucks so has been a big paperweight from the start. Sounds like its not going to work anyway.

@1GR-FE<3R how are you addressing these real world issues? You seemed to be happy to take the money but no real support when it comes to post sale.

Yeah, don't. I am now dealing with returning this, otherwise it will be a pretty paperweight.

Stellar seller. Accusing me on wanting this paperweight for free when I’m trying to return this because of the printed claims on black and white are not the reality promised. Lol what a clown.
