i am getting 5100's, eibach coils and have the rear tsb done on my 09 DC and was wondering if i set the 5100's at .85 do i then need to get the 1.5aal from toytec or will it be okay without it. i prefer not to have the back drop with load and be unlevel.

Measure your truck now from the center of hub to the body and you can predict where it'll be once you do the lift. Without the AAL, you'll probably be a little nose high. It's personal preference though, I think measured dead level looks nose high because of the way the fender flares are cut. I've got Eibachs on Billies set at 0, a TSB rear and the 1.5" 3-leaf AAL and I'm fairly close to factory rake (I've got a cab on the bed though so it weighs it down a little). You'll be almost an inch higher than me in the front so I'd think you'll want the AAL, but again, personal preference.

Sorry to jump in - but where are you getting your 5100's from? Are they in stock?

I have an 08 DC and set the fronts at 0.85 with the rear TSB at the same time. Although it measured pretty close to deal level, it always looked a bit nose high. I added a 1.5" aal about a month ago and it looks much better. I didn't remeasure for confirmation but my eyes are happy.

I would get the AAL. I have that lift in the front, but no TSB and a 2" AAL. I got almost 3" in front on my D-cab 4x4. Makes the truck have a slight rake, which I think suits it. Pics in my gallery.
