Anyone running the Billy's at 2.5 w a 1" bodylift? If so post pics wondering what it'd look like I know body lifts are normally a bad idea but figured a 1" wouldn't be all that bad

I don't think I've ever seen anyone on here with that setup. What size tires are you trying to fit with that combo?

I'm currently running 265/70/17 bfg at with the bilsteins at 2.5 I was just wondering if it'd be a good idea and be able to fit 285 without the considerable trimming and also c what it looks like with 265

    Fair enough.

If you want to gain a small amount of clearance for those 285's, you could run a thin top plate spacer on top of the billies to get you from 2.5" to a full 3" of lift. Just saying it's an option.

with the 1/4" top plate spacer on each strut?? And also I don't wanna have to get into buying aftermarket ucas a lot of cash to dish out on something like that even tho it'd be worth it but with the 1/4" top plate spacer on the billys at 2.5 would u need the new Lucas?

Yes you likely would @ 3"....you may even need new UCA's at 2.5" of lift...some do, some don't

Ok all the angles looked good after I had my billys installed awhile back, I still would like to know if the body lift would look good or not

The overwhelming answer on here will be no.

But it doesn't matter what we think, it's whether you like it or not.

Yeah I have always read into a lot of threads just never really posted but I know the majority here do not like body lifts n with eibach and the billys set at .85 would give me just a bit more lift then I'm getting out of the 5100s set at 2.5 and would u suggest aftermarket ucas with the eibach or so some ppl get by w/o em

The eibachs give 1.6" of lift..

0.85+1.6 = 2.45", so the eibachs will not give you more lift than the billy's at 2.5".

At 2.5", it's hit or miss with UCA's.

I want to get more lift but don't have that much cash to put out I really like the looks of the 4.5" rcd but for that price out of the question

A 1" body lift wouldn't look bad with gap guards

I would actually prefer a 3" suspension + body lift over a drop bracket lift like the RCD.

Drop brackets lower your ground clearance.

Unless you get a big enough one to fit 35's, there's just no point of them IMO. You can already fit 33's with a 3" lift. So if you run 33's with a 4.5" DB (which I do not believe you can fit 35's on), then you actually lose ground clearance. So they are just for looks IMO.

Yeah that's true exactly y I was thinking of going the cheaper way by just sticking w my 5100s and c bout adding a 1" body lift.
How hard is it to install a bl any idea or better to have a shop do it

That's a 3" though....might even be a 4 actually the front fenders look really high to me.

It seems to be a full on 3" body lift tho I would be going with a 1" so it wouldn't show that bad I would think but I am not very sure that's y I am asking for opinions on it n I do know everyone here disagrees w a body lift
