Bilsteen 6112/5160 Availability?

Does anyone know why I’m having no luck in finding these shocks? No one seems to stock these at this time......thanks in advance.

 

They're backordered everywhere. Multiple manufacturing and supply chain issues right back to raw materials.

 

The problem is that there aren't any to stock, bilstein is having problems making them fast enough to keep up with demand.

 

Order and get in line. I'm waiting also....

 

It’s that what everywhere with all manufacturers... I just got in line on a set of Eibach 2.0’s. Minimum lead time 3-4 weeks out. Get on a list ASAP!

Ordered 6112’s last week from shock surplus, on my doorstep in 2 days. Maybe check there.

I couldn’t find a set of Bilstein 5100s in stock anywhere. Suspension Connection said they would ship “today or tomorrow” on March 10th and ending up shipping today. Seems like delays are happening everywhere.

I'm on a wait list with Headstrong-- been trying to piece meal the 6112/5160s, but no luck.

 

Had the same issues. Said screw it and went with Icon 2.5 and 2.0

 

Amazon has the 6112s ready to ship and one side of the 5160s

 

FWIW, AutoAnything had four 6112 kits in stock on the 14th. I took the shot and ordered one set today with the 17% off coupon. Under $650 shipped with tax. Even if its backordered for a while, its still much cheaper than anywhere else.

Also, I have found the left 5160 in stock in multiple places. I've ordered two. There is no difference in the left and right shock, just the kit components.

 

yup only difference is a bracket for the brake line

 

Dually, thank you!!! Autoanything had the 6112 in stock and I scored them for $608.00 with their 17% discount. Now I just need the 5160 for the rear. Thx again!!!

 

watch the Amazon warehouse deals on the 5160. I’ve scored two, returned but new, shocks. I have a third supposedly coming, but hasn’t arrived yet. If you’re in Colorado, maybe we could work out a deal!
