Please bear with me; I'm new to this site.

I have a 2013 DCLB Base 4x4, totally stock, and I'm about to order 2 Bilstein 5100 adjustables for the front which I plan to set at .85.

I'm not planning to lift the back at all, yet I want Bilsteins in the rear, too.

My question: Do I also order 5100 adjustables for the back, or just order the regular 5100s? Will this give me the "tuned system" ride, or do I need to order adjustables for the back even though I'm not lifting the back?

I think I read somewhere in TW that running 5100 adjustables in the back with no back lift can actually be bad?

I appreciate any and all help. Thank you.

5100 adjustable are fronts only. To my knowledge. To achieve lift in rear add a leaf is recommended.

Thank you. So with 5100 adjustables in front, which Bilsteins should I get in back if I have no desire to increase back height?

5100 for rear also. I think the measurements are 14/22...

Thanks to all. Makes sense now. I'll post pics of my mild build soon.

Got another question, and thanks ahead of time for any help.

Ordered Bilstein 5100 adjustables for front and back and they are on their way to my house. Got my new Cooper Discoverer All-Terrain tires mounted today at America's Tire Co. They recommended a brake shop to install my Billies.

Called the brake shop and they looked up my truck model in their computer and said it looks like I need struts??? I thought I was ok ordering the Billies and having them bolted on using original coils?

The labor charge is over $400 if I need struts. Only $200 if I don't.

    What do y'all think?

    Thanks!
