I have a 1997 Tacoma 4x4 and I am looking to replace the shocks. Should I also be looking at new springs as the ones on my truck are originals. I am not looking to lift the truck as I feel its high enough.

I am looking at the Bilstein 4600 shocks from 4wheelparts as I feel $280 is pretty good deal.

Let me know what you think. Thanks

140,000. Yes I plan on using it offroad a bit (fast forest roads and some bumpy windy roads)

Look here in the market place for a set, I pretty sure you are looking for a 600lb spring ( I am not sure about the 1st gens)
Toy tech or eibach come to mind.
