    I’ll make this simple, I have a 2017 SR and I think the suspension is crap. Thoughts on the Bilstein 5100 vs the 6112..... and go!!!!

    Sub'd for interest. I think it's clear that the 6112's are superior, but in the opinion of those who have experienced both models, is it worth the price difference over the 5100?

    Can’t speak on the 5100’s but I have the 6112’s and really like them. Also have seen a few posts with people saying they had both and preferred the 6112’s. If I was looking for a little lift and only street driving I probably would of went with the 5100s. IMO.

    6112/5160's & Wheeler's Progressive 3AAL SCS SR8’s
    From what I understand the 5100's are basically 4600's that are adjustable. I put 6112's on and they ride much better than the stock 4600's. If your doing any off roading I would go with the 6112's, mainly just because I am really happy with them.

    Both have digressive valving. Icons are adjustable via threads versus disassembling and reassembling. Icons are rebuildable and I believe Bilsteins are too but most people don't rebuild them and just toss them since it's not that cost effective from what I understand.

    5100's, Cooper ATP's, and a ton of gas.
    Look into Fox 2.5 with 2.0 in the back, not sure the cost of them over the 6112

    OP, I did this same debate for quite sometime. I ended up going with the 5100s cause I just couldn’t justify the added expense for my use and I love em. Truck rides great.

    You need to think about what you’re using the truck for, as a daily driver and moderate off-roading, the 5100s are an excellent choice for the money and I truly don’t think you’d be dissapointed. I beat these types of questions to death myself when I’m choosing a setup and I’m happy with the choice I made with the 5100s. No regrets
