Bilstein 5100 & 2" aal??

    I have seen this setup favored by a few on here but wanted to hear any recommendations/tips you all would be so kind to throw out there... I am currently having my frame swapped and figured why not, there is a 2-4 week wait...

    I have 265/75/16 BFG AT and rub every so slightly, don't want to spend an awful lot of money, need new shocks/struts, drive 60-200 HW miles daily but also find myself on a lot of log roads.

    Do the 5100's and a 2" add a leaf make the most sense for my needs??

    What would be the ideal settings?

    Wheres the best place to buy the (1.5 or 2"???) add a leaf, 5100's, bushing kit and diff. drop kit. Looking for a good deal but good service is a must. (Toytec seems to have all of those items in stock...)

    I just orderd everything to do a 3" lift from Toytec. I did some homework, and from what I understand, Toytec's AAL, bushing kits, and differential drop are decent quality products. The prices are fair as well. I ordered everything one would need to do a nice 3" lift, but even after tons of research, I am not sure how necessary the diff. drop is. Does 3" realy change the angle of your CV's enough to cause damage? Who knows, these are the questions that keep me up at night! Haha If anyone knows how beneficial the diff. drop is, please chime in!

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    I have the 5100's with the Eibach coils and a 2" AAL and I love the ride. I also got the Diff drop kit and my angles are pretty good they were a little steeper with out it I would buy it again just to be sure.

    anyone have anything to say about just the 5100's and aal?? is that not the way to go?

    I've got 5100s at 2 1/2" setting with TSB rear and 1 1/2 rear blocks. Love the ride. I tried TSB rear with 1 1/2" AAL but was too stiff for me. I had to add driveshaft carrier bearing drop to eliminate vibration. Got my 5100s from Down South and everything else from Toytech. BUT, I'm a 2nd Gen. :)

    5100's all around, Toytec coils, 2inch AAL. Deckplate mod. Westin Nerf Bars.
    I had my 5100's and 2" AAl delivered and was abou to pull the trigger but I decided to pony up a few more bucks and get the Eibach coils like JLee did(Above post). My reasoning for the coils was I did nto want to sacrifice the slightest ride downgrade for height. Set my billies at 0" and threw everything on.

    I am thrilled with the height and the ride is great. It's of course up to you but your current setup should be fine.
